I saw Dr. Verklin about 2 days later and his calming and optimistic demeanor was contagious when he told me that I didn’t need surgery. He had me fitted with a very confining sling with a swath and gave me careful directions on how to maneuver in this sling for the next 5 weeks. Each time I saw Dr. Verkiin, during those 5 weeks, I found Dr. Verklin to be very compassionate and patient and he carefully answered all my questions and concerns. He gave me some simple exercises to do, once the sling was off, and then recommended ATI Physical Therapy in Edgewater, Md. for Rehab.
I will always be very grateful for Dr. Verklin’s recommendation of ATI Physical Therapy in Edgewater, Md. The atmosphere is very upbeat and optimistic and I was so impressed with the way Andrew, Trisha and Cameron encouraged me and kept me hopeful during the Physical Therapy! It was hard work but I was happy to be recommended to such a great area with such dedicated Physical Therapists and Staff!
I graduated from Physical Therapy and saw Dr. Verklin for the last time on February 21, 2017. He was very happy with my progress and recovery and I could not thank him enough for all his Professional Expertise, his patience and his recommendations. I’m very fortunate that I crossed paths with Dr. Verklin! I will highly recommend him if I hear of anyone who needs a GREAT Sports Medicine doctor! Dr. Verklin’s Staff is also very Professional, Efficient and prompt in setting up appointments and they were always very kind to me.
